Alfred L. Watkins is one of the much sought after guest conductors of honor, region, clinic and all-state bands in the country. He has conducted high school all-state bands in over 15 states and has conducted high school honor bands in over 35 states.

 

An invaluable part of ALW Consulting is Mr. Watkins' ability to immediately connect with students on all levels and to provide high quality instruction in a concise yet simple method of instruction. Students around the country love playing in his ensembles and grow exponentially as a result.

 

As a result of his vast experiences as a public school educator, interacts  with university communities as an "artist-in-residence" serving as an educational resource between the theoretical and practical aspects of successful school teaching.
