SWD Alumni Selected as First Female FAMU Drum Major in History

Congratulations are in order to Cori Bostic on being selected as the first female Drum Major in the 72-year history of the Florida A&M University Marching Band (my alma mater). Cori is a fine oboist and piccolo player, and her historical selection as DM was announced yesterday by FAMU Director of Bands, Shelby Chipman.
