The Minority Band Directors National Association (MBDNA) is an organization designed to serve, promote, celebrate and mentor ethnic minority band directors throughout the United States and is dedicated to highlight significant band related events that fosters growth and development within the national band community.

MBDNA fosters a sharing of commons goals and ideals relevant to the minority band director.  Through the creation of a broad listing (database) of directors, MBDNA proposes to serve as a source for meaningful dialogue and educational enhancement through workshops, conventions, clinics, guest artists, lectures and performances. ​

    

Through an active mentorship program, MBDNA is committed to the development of young minority band directors.  We encourage partnerships and will provide access to an assortment of established teachers.​
