Shiree Williams

Congratulations to Maestro Shiree Williams, who just completed a stint as one of five

protégés selected as conductors to participate in the U.S. Army Band Pershing’s Own

2016 Conductor’s Workshop. The workshop, hosted by Col. Timothy Holtan,

commander of Pershing’s Own, was designed to assist in the development for outstanding

graduate student conductors. The conductors had the unique opportunity to work with

the U.S Army’s Concert Band and were coached by Mr. Craig Kirchhoff, formerly from

the University of Minnesota. Mr. Williams holds degrees from Valdosta State University

and CCM. He is the new Assistant Band Director of McKinney High School in Texas.
